These thoughts can often lead to feelings of depression, stress and anxiety.

Things should not be this way. After quitting their jobs, some were able to recover by establishing their own business or by finding a more rewarding positions.

Prior to actually resigning from your job it is important that you think through your reasons.

First, you will need to validate the reason for your resignation and make sure it is not only because your colleagues are talking back at you or backstabbing you. If you've been enduring some stress and pain over your job then submitting a resignation would probably a good choice.

Then, you would need a good understanding of what is happening. Think about the things and factors that influence you on opting to leave your job. Does your reason involve being uncomfortable to work with others? Or could it be that you don't feel the respect from your colleagues? Or would it be because your present job isn't actually in line with your set of skills?

Leaving a job which no longer help you attain your goals does not necessarily mean that you are heading for the right direction - leaving your job only aids the discomfort, pain or stress which you are feeling. Try to ask yourself if you are looking for a job with lots of breaks or free time. Do you like to take part in a company that provides you more authority or responsibility? Or maybe lesser responsibility? Get paid using your creativity? A more logical reason? Be specific with what you want and what you would like to do in your life.

A plan for quitting the job you have should also something that you should prepare. Action speaks louder than words as they say but it is also important that you think of your actions first. If you've come across a solid decision on where you'd rather be than in your job, be sure to plan a route which you can follow. You don't want to leave your job without a well thought out plan. Before leaving your job, look up new job openings which you want, find spaces for your business, write blogs, etc.

Through your plan you will have a specific goal to achieve after quitting your current job. Also, it can provide you with ease of mind as youll be setting up a back-up plan the moment you are out of your current work. The plan will even boost your confidence and will help you look forward to better opportunities. After which you have come up with a plan that will take you to better situation, you can then sign that resignation and hand it over to your boss with a smile.
