People are very interested in the online job market. Some have made very big money on the internet and some have quit their regular job to devote full time to the online endeavors. As a result it has become a hot spot for the scammers.

In order to monitor online scams some websites were even developed. Scammers have even developed a number of websites to fool normal people. Most of the sites were opened in the US. Now it is 2012. Will you be able to imagine the number of fake sites now.

If you are one of those people looking for work online, how do you spot online job scams? Are there telltale signs to keep you safe? It is difficult to identify most of the online scammers. They understand the mindset of the job seekers very well. Because of this, many have professional graphics, professional copywriters, and fake reviews. Legitimate web sites are also not safe from these scammers.

You can look for the telltale signs available. While starting make sure to look at the website properly. How does it appear? Is the email real? See whether it is from a popular provider or from a corporate domain. Is there something that just doesn't seem right about the site? In order to attract people are they using popular web names? Do they sound to good to be true?

Look for this company in popular sites like BobBear.co.uk. Look for any information regarding the site. Does the company you are checking on, pop up here as a fake or scam?

If this company is requesting your personal information such as license or passport up front before you even agree to their terms, they are probably a scam. If the company tries to convince you about their legality then they are not legal at all.

Do you homework properly in order to get a job online. Legitimate companies only need your name and email to begin with. Try to have a look at the online scam websites.

If you do these simple things, you have a much better chance of finding an online business that is legitimate. Thoroughly check the online form before filling it up.
