Could Quality Car Wraps Help The Wii U?

By Rob Sutter

If there is one thing that gamers do not want to see, it's their favorite console going unnoticed. They want others to experience the joys that they have experienced with the console and hope that others will be able to do the same. That being said, it seems as though the Wii U has had quite a bit of trouble gaining traction and I have to wonder what the reasons for this are. Regardless, perhaps the utilization of quality car wraps can prove to be the best action.

If you were to ask any average gamer, they would tell you that the Wii U is not exactly a broken console. It is strong enough and the fact that the GamePad is a prime piece of the console speaks volumes about just how unique it truly is. Why is it, then, that the console has not been able to catch on with audiences? Many may consider the lack of substantial content as the reason but I feel as though it is more of a lack of marketing on the part of Nintendo.

I am not sure why it is but Nintendo has not done very much to let the world know about the Wii U in its entirety. As you can imagine, this has translated to fewer sales of the console, which I felt could have been avoided. After all, consumers are going to purchase goods based on awareness and, for quite a while, they believed the Wii U to be only a controller extension of sorts for the Wii. Nintendo's efforts to let the masses know about the console have been lackluster.

I think that quality car wraps stand as the items with the best potential to increase awareness. Authorities along the lines of JMR Graphics can probably tell you the same. To me, these wraps have been able to prove themselves time and time again and the fact that they are able to last for quite some time speaks volumes about how durable they are. They are dynamic enough for others to notice and they will not hinder Nintendo's substantial bank account in the long term, either.

I do not think that the Wii U is a flop since it has only been about a year since the console was first released. I feel as though there is a chance for this console to come back to the surface but only if the proper marketing efforts are set in place. To me, Nintendo has done a poor job in this regard, whether it is a matter of the lack of TV commercials or what have you. Perhaps quality car wraps can help but time will tell if console can come back swinging.
